Thousands of demonstrators gathered at the Brandenburg Gate on Saturday, January 25, 2025,
The demonstrators intention was to make a Sea of Light in a protest against the rise of fascism.
The demonstration occurred one month before Germanys scheduled general election on February 23,
Where it’s feared that the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), could gain significant ground.
