Liverpool's main Chinese New Year (Year of the Wood Snake) festivities for 2025 culminated with the traditional and vibrant main event in Chinatown and Great George Square.
The Chinatownarea of Liverpool is home to the oldest Chinese community in Europe. The area is also notable for its Chinese-style architecture; with the paifangon Nelson Street being the largest, multiple-span arch of its kind outside China.
