The Fiestas de Alcalá 2.8.26, in honour of the Virgen de Candelaria (la Morenita“) The Boats are greeted very enthusiastically with loud music and singing , tributes of flowers and sweets are passed from the shore to the boats, pigeons are released, the maritime procession then continues on its journey to visit multiple fishing villages along the coast.
